The Marine Technology Specialists
We are a New England based, marine electronics integration company run by professional people who are passionate about boats and the cutting-edge technology that goes with them. For the last 20 years we’ve been helping our customers select, design, install and commission the right equipment for each job.
We work closely with our customers – OEM’s, boatyards, boat builders, boat dealers and boat owners – to provide custom electrical, communication, navigation, entertainment, security and automation system solutions. Our applications range from recreational boats and sportfishing yachts to commercial fishing and government vessels.
Knowing what’s out there and helping to make the right choices is a big part of our job. We pride ourselves in the quality of our work, and the level of our professionalism; but most importantly, we fully support the equipment and our installation if an issue arises. We strive to create long-standing relationships by providing first-class customer service.
History
Navtronics was founded by a husband and wife team in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire in 1992. The business catered to the commercial fishing fleet throughout the Seacoast, and as consumer electronics became more prevalent, began servicing electronics on recreational vessels.
Since the company changed hands in 2002, the business had continued to grow and prosper. In 2008, Navtronics offices moved to Maine to accommodate the expanding capacity, services, and geographic coverage areas. This would provide better customer support for the Maine boat owners, boatyards, boat dealers and builders, while still being within local servicing range of southern New England.
The Marine Commerce Center at 15 Hannaford Drive in York is now home to Navtronics, Liferaft Services, and Twin Tails Yacht Sales, creating a group of marine-based sales, outfitting and servicing companies at one convenient location. The 21,000 sq. ft facility accommodates two large vessel outfitting bays, boat storage and service, and contains a state-of the art USCG approved life raft servicing station. Along with offices, two large showrooms are onsite, one with interactive electronics and one with safety and survival equipment on display.
With easy access to Interstate 95, the facility is centrally located between Downeast Maine and southern New England. In 2018, Navtronics opened an additional satellite office at Front Street Shipyard in Belfast, Maine to better serve the Mid-Coast region.
Today, Navtronics continues to work with local clients along with many of Maine’s world-renowned boatbuilders and boatyards, providing various levels of technology systems solutions and support in many parts of the United States, some Internationally.
